Is HitHat a Samply clone?

Is HitHat cheaper than Samply?

Should I stay on Samply?

Protection is not a paid feature

Samply's download prevention starts on the $10 plan. Here the switch is on every link on every plan, and it is enforced on the server: a blocked download is refused, not just a hidden button.

No quality menu to get wrong

We serve the file you uploaded and nothing else. There is no adaptive tier, no per-listener preference and no project default, so there is no setting anybody can leave on the wrong value.

Built and hosted in the EU

HitHat is made by Aya Labs B.V. in the Netherlands, and your audio sits in a private European bucket reachable only through short-lived signed links.

Dolby Atmos and spatial audio: Samply Pro, with official ADM support. We are stereo only.
Watermarking: Samply Pro. We have nothing like it.
Desktop and phone apps: Samply ships macOS and iOS apps. HitHat is a browser, and that is all.
Gapless playback: On every Samply plan. Ours is on the list, not in the product.
